Third Chapter. Maternity

Maternity is a state of suspension. A body that expands, changes, breaks apart and comes together again. A soul that loses itself and finds itself again — in silence, in exhaustion, in anticipation.

Nothing is orderly. Nothing is perfect. And yet, it is precisely within this imperfection that something essential takes place. A woman, transformed by life, changes. Through pain, vulnerability, and the power of the most natural act of all: giving life.

This metamorphosis, made of flesh, breath and instinct, follows no aesthetic rules. It asks for no approval. It does not seek beauty. And yet, in its raw truth, it creates the purest form of perfection: the kind that emerges when a woman fully embraces what she is becoming.

And so, it is precisely when a woman embraces every imperfection, when she surrenders to the truth of her body and her soul, that something which has always lived within her reveals itself… the perfection of being a woman.
